Delete account & data

Saam is a family assistant that turns loose messages into complete tasks. You can have your account and its data deleted at any time. Here's how, and exactly what gets removed.

How to request deletion

1. In the app (instant): open Saam → Settings → Account → Delete. Your account is removed right away.

2. Without the app, or by email: from your account email address, send a message containing the word "Delete" to the address below. We process your request within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Your account: name, email address and (if connected) your phone number.
• Your tasks and the content you submitted.
• Your calendar connection: access to your Google Calendar is revoked and the stored tokens are deleted.
• If you're the only parent in a household, the whole household is deleted; otherwise only your membership.

What we keep (briefly)

We keep nothing longer than necessary. Anonymized usage statistics that can't be traced back to you may be retained. Regular backups expire automatically within 30 days, after which everything is gone from those too.
