Why Saam exists

The swim bag, the present for Saturday, the email from school, the day the bins go out. It's never one big thing; it's a hundred small ones that add up to a full day's work nobody sees. Whoever carries it knows exactly how heavy invisible work can get.

Saam was built by a parent who watched this up close and decided technology should finally push in the right direction here: not one more app to keep up with, but something that takes the keeping up off your hands. A family assistant in the literal sense: something that does the work, rather than showing you the work.

What we believe

• Saying it out loud should be enough. Every extra step is a reason to just remember it yourself instead.
• Sharing fairly is the whole point. Not tracking who does what, but making sure it evens out on its own.
• Calm, not pressure. No streaks, no countdowns, no guilt. What we promise is a lighter head.
• Privacy isn't a footnote. Speech is converted on your own phone, we don't build profiles of children, and whatever we hold on to temporarily gets deleted automatically.
